Coronavirus Update

COVID-19 has affected us all, in the way we go about our daily lives. The CFA, and more locally Tyabb Fire Brigade is no different. As such, we want to advise you that we have implemented certain measures to help protect our members, but more importantly, members of the public, when we are responding to emergencies. The most important things that you need to be aware of are:

• Response to all emergency calls will be as normal, that won’t change! We still have an obligation to our community, and will be pro-active with how we manage each response.

• Our members are all volunteers who go home to their families after each call. We ask that you respect any advice or direction you may get from us while we are managing an emergency.

• Until further notice, the station is not available for community groups and public use.

• We encourage people to continue to follow the advice from the Victorian and Federal Government in relation to self-isolation, and how to minimise transmission. We would greatly appreciate any information regarding anyone known to be self-isolating when we arrive at an emergency.

This notice is intended to give you confidence that your local CFA will still be there for you, should you need us. Please look after yourselves and others in during this time.

Thank you for your on-going support and understanding.

We are all Volunteers

All the members of Tyabb CFA are volunteers.  Without volunteers our Fire Brigade wouldn’t exist. We have been a part of the community for over 75 years and we are a constantly looking for people to help us. Come along on Monday nights at 7pm or contact us for more information.
